Photo Shoot

"Aunt" Alicia graciously came and did a photo shoot with Emersen. We tried dress up and got as many as we could with a 3 1/2 week old baby. Isn't she so cute!? And of course, credit to the photographer as well!

In other updates:

On her one month date, we'll be going back to the doctor for another weight re-check. We went this past Tuesday and she HAD gained weight but is still not back up to her birth weight. The doctor did remind us of how high her birth weight was, such that we have a higher weight to get back to. He commented that he hadn't seen that large of a baby in about 3 years. So we continue with our feedings at least every 3 hours for now. Did want to throw out the recommendation for NUK bottles, nipples and pacifiers - they've helped simplify our feeding routine.

We think Emersen is dealing with some colic at times. We're trying Colic Calm now to aid her digestion - it appears to be the cause. If anyone has suggestions for remedies to gas or stomach issues, we'll definitely take them!
