Well we've made it about 2 1/2 weeks now. Our biggest struggle has been weight gain. She didn't gain any weight between our follow up visit (to our 1st visit to the pediatrician) and her 2 week appointment. At this point she should have been back up to her birth weight. Apparently, although breast feeding has been going okay (as in it didn't hurt anymore really), she isn't latching correctly and isn't getting enough to eat with this feeding method. So, again, we had to go to the strict feeding schedule of every 3 hours at the most, supplement with formula if I wasn't producing enough milk, etc. We had to nurse and pump and feed her a bottle. Fortunately, we went back yesterday, and she had gained 4 oz and is back over 10 lbs. She should be gaining 1 oz per day so we're back on track. We do have to continue the strict schedule though. Therefore, my mom is back to help out as well! Yay mom.

Thanks to the Pace ladies for the cute monkey blanket as well. It's been keeping Emersen warm during her nighttime feedings downstairs.
