We moved out to the Leestown Rd area to be able to be more involved in the mission of our church to serve that area of Lexington. This house was way more than we expected to get or find.
While we closed in April, the homeowners needed to stay a little longer and we didn't move in until the end of June. After several weeks, we're pretty much settled in. There are still some things we can't find, and some things to hang on the walls, but it's getting there.
We were very lucky that the previous owners also had a little girl and painted her room yellow - Butter Up to be more specific. Yay - no painting for us! More pictures to come as we start putting our little girl's room together.
And with a little girl on the way, I'm trying to be better about taking pictures and documenting our "firsts." So I'm practicing with Wes - his first time mowing our grass!

We're pretty excited about our new neighbors too...as you can see the truck, he does landscaping and can help us get our yard lookin' real pretty.

Mom took several pictures of the interior of the house on her visit this past Sunday so maybe we'll post those soon too - our own virtual tour...
